Ok so like yeah...:D I told someone I'd do this so here goes.
Lauren's Pet Peeve/Don't fuck with me List-Here by Popular demand.
1. Do not is abbreviated as Don't...therefore You are is abbreviated as You're. STOP FREAKING USING YOUR! >:O I swear I do not know how this can be the most commonly misspelled word in the english language. How hard is it to see that it's a contraction? Chatspeak and the misspelling of YOUR have got to be the two most annoying things in the world.
2. Cheating. Cheating is so messed up. I mean who the hell would partake in a relationship with someone who's already in one? A cheater is just as bad as someone who is having a relationship with someone that's already in one. What's so awesome about making someone feel insignificant? When your fling's partner ends up finding out, how horrible that must feel. And just think, you and your fling are the people who caused someone innocent to feel "not good enough" or like shit. I'm sorry but if you cheat on someone or with someone who's in a relationship, you're a fucking asswipe.
3. The term "making love". The overusage of "making love" has got to be one of the most annoying things ever. Today, just having sex is considered making love but there is nothing about it that means love. Just say you got banged, fucked, had sex. You didn't "make love" unless you really were truly in love with the person you had sex with. Making Love is for people who end up having sex out of a deep love for each other, or you can even see it as two people who have sex to procreate.
4. HOMOPHOBES and people who use Gay/Lesbian/Homo as a deragatory term. STUPID dickheads. It's so annoying to see someone hating on a homosexual. If you care so much about what other people do in the privacy of their homes, maybe you should join the fucking government and invade EVERYONE'S privacy. And gays who hate on lesbians or vice versa...that's just disgusting. On that same note-think of something more intelligent to say than "That's gay" , "Faggot" or "that's so lesbian". IT MAKES NO SENSE and it's just hurting others around you. There is NOTHING wrong with gays or lesbians. They're just like you and me and they deserve the same amount of respect, if not more. They have to put up with the insecurities of the american public because americans are always searching for someone or something to target to make themselves feel better.
5. The word POSER. What a stupid concept. "She's a Poser", "Avril's a Poser", "Hilary's a Poser" Um hello...YOU'RE A POSER! If you do anything out of the ordinary to please other people you're a poser. The entire populus of the U.S. are posers in a sense. So don't use the word. It makes even the smartest people sound so fricking uneducated. Especially when "goths" say it about Avril Lavigne. That's the icing on the cake. "God Avril is such a poser". WELL YOU'RE A FREAKIN MALL GOTH SO GET THE HELL OVER IT! Which brings me to another Peeve. Mall goths or people who decide to be Homosexual or Bisexual just because it's cool. Get the heck over yourself and stop being so easily influenced. If everyone could get over what other people think of them this world would be a much more secure/happier place.
6. People who think they're all that. That needs no rant/soap box commentary.
