How can I release the beast when I refuse to open the cage?
It paces back and forth
eyes stuck dead center
as I enter into its abyss
flinch
scatter empty hearted back to reality
back to insanity
what a calmity
because the beast has a hold of me
control of me
my only escape
buried deep
but the beast
well
the beast steals me back
hidden
ridden with a guilt that I am living some kind of sin
as I fail to appreciate all thats within
because I know whats true...
the death of the beast means the death of you
you as you know you
you as the old you
afraid
to see me as I can be
free!
