It is on its way.
Food no longer satisfies my hunger
Drink no longer satisfies my thirst
I haven't a need to eat, nor to drink...
even though I know I should.
The hand will soon reach out to me
I cannot run
I cannot hide
Nor do I want to.
It will come and touch me softly
Wrapping its arms around me
It will consume me
It will bless me
And I will have my second set of wings.
