3 more Days
We are off on the 27th though plans may have changed or may remain the same. Oh gosh not much to update about but I do plan on having pictures up as soon as we return. Yuck today started off in rain which wouldn't be bad if it wasn't getting colder as the hours drag on. I applied for more jobs today but who knows. I've been trying to quit spending so much money but yeah, not happening. Oh, yesterday I was having a good day and then I let some stupid little thing piss me off right before I got home to get some rest. Things started out with a good day at work followed by some delicious dinner my mom cooked up at home and then shopping. I bought 2 new shirts and a pair of pants and we headed off to Target to browse and my brother bought himself some t-shirts. Then my mom needed to pic up her pictures at Walgreen's and thus my happiness ended. We got there, I got photos for her then she wanted a can of those mixed nuts. I decided that since the line I was on only had 3 people ahead of me that she should go and wait in the truck while I paid and we could go home. Well as soon as my mom leaves the first person is done and the second moves up. Then the lady at the counter can't scan some wrapping paper rolls so she calls for a manager. I don't mind as they've had to call for the manager before (the store opened not too long ago) and he walks over to fix the problem. Finally after several beeps and pressing buttons and such he gets the 3 rolls scanned and on her receipt and then she decides that she doesn't want them as they were clearly marked $3.99 but she thought they were $1.99 so now he has to go back and remove them. Then another counter opens up and I move towards it right behind another woman. I was happy to see she only had 2 christmas cards and 2 gift cards and I patiently waited only to realize that one of her gift cards was not running through and thus the guy at the register sends her off to fetch another which also didn't work and so she went off to get the last one. Nope. Then she goes off to fetch 2 that equal the same amount. Finally they scan and he gives her the total only to realize that the first 3 actually had gone through. So he clears it out and restarts the whole process scanning the original only to realize that it was not functioning because it was charging twice the amount so I got pissed cause the other line had finally started making progress but now there was more people in that line. Oh and as I waited pretty pissed at that point, the cashier and the lady were chatting away as he tried to fix the damn thing. Well yeah, then he finally notices me as she's leaving and goes, "This registers closed." Yeah hell no, of course he was joking but I was pissed and murder flashed in my eyes. By the time I got out of that store I was mad. All because I wanted to buy my mom her mixed nuts.
