Well this is fantastic timing...
I just got an e-mail from AOL.
They are shutting down the AOL Journals, so they are telling me that all the entries that I have on there will be lost if I don't do something with them right now. Those of you that remember when I had my AOL Journal might remember what time of my life that was.
Oh yes, sophomore year of high school. Not exactly a time in my life that I'm really excited to go back and visit. But pack rat that I am, I can't just let those entries get lost, so I'm going to have to go back through and copy them to somewhere...
Not only is that going to be a lot of work, but I can see it also being very emotional. This is the problem with journaling online. Your stuff isn't completely safe. You can't just throw it in a box that you never have to look through again until your old and gray and can find the emotions of your youth amusing.
Ugh. And I really don't have time for this either, but again, I can't just let all that stuff go... Oh, man, I just said a mouthful... whatever.
