Simnel cake
I intended to put this up last night but something on my laptop hogged the net connection so that I couldn't do anything else. I had to Apply The Vulcan Death Grip, as we say. Now I'm suspicious and running Avast!, which will be followed by Spybot, Malwhere and Ad-Aware before I connect the lap again.
Anyway, this is the recipe I use and have been promising Amamama for ages. *hangs head* The scan isn't my usual quality. The book is old and I daren't flatten the pages any more for fear of breaking the spine. :/
Where it says '1 recipe quantity of marzipan', that would be 1 pound of marzipan
