Yesterday and today have been positively spring-like. Clear sky of a delicate shade of blue that I wish I could find in a batiq, with pleasant sunshine and, best of all for where I live, no wind. This mild spell is most welcome to my senses.
Plants have been trimmed back, the anemone corms I bought yesterday are nestled in the good earth in a smart black square pot. The new bonsai has been repotted more appropriately, and finger trimmed. In the garden, I have discovered a clump of snowdrops flowering happily although there is no sign of the miniature Iris reticulata planted last year. Ah ça.
