I was having problems hearing the audio bits on the Societe pages. I got brave and emailed and your man made a couple of suggestions. One of them worked. I'm clogging up my hard drive saving all the tricky word sounds I come across so I can hear it over and over until I (hopefully) get it right.
I should have asked him which parish pronunciation they followed. Dgiâtre!
I sent for the Jersiais/Francaise dictionary. £12 for postage. Ah well. Keep your fingers crossed that it's helpful to me. I could have bought a pair of shoes for what I spent on one book. Eeep!
