I ought to be more chirpy on the first of a new month but I'm miffed. I finally got the last 2 borders on the quilt mentioned here and spent ages carefully layering and pinning the quilt sandwich. When I pick it up to take it to the machine to tack I discover the backing isn't as tight as I'd like. I don't want humpy bits in my backing.
