À matîn, j'ai 'té (have been) siez l'dentiste. J'ai ieu deux (ch'est 'le plombage' en Français mais j’ n’ai autcheune idée what 'filling' is en l'Jèrriais.) Ch't' arlévée, j'ai acaté trais livres au sujet dè l'oeuvre mais j'ai voulu plusieurs.
À ch't heu, j'sis un mio lâssé (from looking things up. It takes me three times as long to look up what I want to say and then I probably get it wrong!) Ch’est embêtant! (It's annoying!) Tenses confuse me: I lapse into schoolgirl French.
I'll have to trawl lé dictionnaithe for all these useful little words that I can never find when I want them, and acater le Dictionnaire Jersias-Francais. At least I know a good English to French translation site to give me an idea where to start looking dans lé dictionnaithe.
