(no subject)
Once again I find myself in the office for an absurd amount of time considering there is nothing to do, and my employer has left the building. What does that mean? I'm updating my livejournal. Haha.
The Northstar show last night was AWESOME. The opening bands were pretty good too. I'm really interested in The Honorary Title now. I can't wait to burn the cd when Jen gets it. Haha. Sorry fellas, but I'm broke.
Anyway, somehow Stephanie and Jen ended up talking about Super Size Me, which as gross as it sounds I really want to see, so I'm either going to borrow it or watch it with Stephanie tonight. Plus, Jenny isn't going to Duke now, so I'm sure her and I will hang out this weekend.
That's also cool, because it means I have a ride to FACES, the local food pantry, tomorrow morning. For lent I decided that every weekend I'm in Farmville I will go volunteer there on Saturday morning. Jenny's on their committee, so she goes all the time. I'm just lazy.
I swear our dhall has the strangest soups ever. It has to be just the leftover shit put in some oily/brothy water. Today's concoction was pretty decent though. It's tortellini soup, aka we overcooked the tortellini and put it in some sort of spinach or kale soup. In any event, the cheesey tortellini was delicious.
Well, as much as I'd like to waste more time, I think that's all I have to say for now. I guess I'll get back to "working" for another hour and a half.
