What a year for a new year...

So it's now the year 2005. It's going to take me another 3 months to remember that when I'm dating my papers. But seriously, I don't think this year could have started off better. Alright, maybe a little, but so far it's been promising and amazing. I had a super time in Hampton with Ash, Arin, and a few of their friends. I can't wait for this semester to start up again; it's so nice to have Ash back from Ireland. I still can't believe she brought me back all natural Erin wool yarn from Erin Island. That's going to make the coolest scarf ever. New Year's Day was such a beautiful, rare day. I drove back really quickly and easily and wished the whole time that I could go to Maymont. Then I got home and talked to my brother and Courtie babe, and they thought it was an excellent idea too. We even had enough time to stop off and enjoy Carytown. By the time I got home, my dad was fixing barbecue chicken on the grill and my sister and I rented a movie to watch. Such a fun, spring-like day was great to rejuvinate me and prepare me for the year to come. Also, my horoscope says that this year will be great for my diet and physical fitness regimine, which is good since I am currently trying to lose some weight. I can't wait to be "sweating to the oldies" with Richard Simmons and my suitemate, Jenny. There is only one thing so far that could put a damper on my otherwise pure optimism for the coming year, and I'm really hoping it will be a new turning point instead of a new disappointment. Only time will tell. Well it's time to finish rolling my yarn into a ball and watch a movie with my little sister.
Later Days.
