I was taking these pictures of these rock walls that were half covered in moss. My Mom called them Penny Walls and said they're all over Ireland. I was trying to keep with my "abstract" concept and I liked the contrast between the black and greys in the rocks, and the greens in the moss when I noticed these little things. We used to play with them in the back yard as kids. If you split them in half and dropped them they'd spin like little Hellicopters, or if you split the seed open at the bottom you could attach it to your nose and be Pinocio. Momma dukes called them Polly-Wogs. The name always stuck to me.
