(no subject)
i had an MRI today and i gotta tell ya...being severely ticklish in the neck somehow makes it really hard. got up nice and early, showered, ate, blah blah blah. oddly, the MRI room was so nice and comfortable, i kind of wish it was my bedroom. well no, but it was nice. and the bed was comfortable. i'm weird. righto anyway MRIs work on a magnetic basis, and so i could feel the waves as the technician shot the images. unfortunately the dome that went around my head (hot, i know) extended to my collar, which meant my neck was included in this invasive magnetic process. so clearly i could feel things tingling on my neck, and since my arms were occupied with random wires, i coudl do nothing about it. except laugh. which i did. and then i was told to hold still. and then i did that, chuckling mentally. haha life is so bizarre.
anyway, groggy, tingly, and still kind of giggling, my mommy and i made our way to burlington mall where i managed to spend too much money on various items. death.
on a good note, i have a day off today. and so does b-man. yayyy
i've been working a fair amount...thursday night was bad. just a bad day full of "you're an idiot...and thats why you work at panera" looks (you girls know the ones i mean) and various negative thigns that contributed to a couple of near crashes and a really nudgy attack on my poor dog. friday night was relatively better, since i was supposed to close dining room and rather closed bakery. i also got to repeat my "i'm-on-med-leave-because-i-got-hurt-playing-rugby" story 5 times. i'm gonna start modifying it soon, something like "ehhh-i-got-mauled-by-a-moose-in-the-thick-maine-forestry-and-no-one-found-my-mangled-even-though-it's-all-better-now-body-for-4-days"
