Aaaaand then! I remembered that James was calling his parents. Yeah. Go go, memory. There's still hope!!
Barney telling Robin... that was awesome. I don't feel angry for Robin not saying anything back to him which I think is a little weird, but... I'm okay with it? Odd, eh?
Awesome.

I loved that speech to Robin. It's so very powerful because it reminds me of all the little things we had to work on to get to that point in this story. Barney isn't an open person about his emotions and actually telling the truth? Psshh..
It was a good emotional release for him.

His speech to Robin made me all teary, which honestly doesn't happen to me that often. It was just so beautiful and sincere and yet hopeless at the same time because he knew it would be the last time he'd see her. His reflection on trading Armani in for cedar wood gave me chills (and I think I read it somewhere before, so it still gave me chills). And stopping treatment?! Barney! Haven't you been reading my frantic comments that want you to live?!?
And to make matters worse, My Chemical Romance's "Cancer" came up on my shuffle when I was reading this. Thanks for adding to my trauma, iTunes.
Hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter.
(Oh, and I still need to know what happened with Charles and Doogie and Vinnie!)
