God, Barney puts so much work into keeping up his persona, doesn't he? Makes me wonder how he's going to react when it's all unravelled.

Wow. I love the idea of Barney not taking his own Bro Code seriously, but then causing it to get blown out of hand on his blog. Is it sad that every time I go to a new entry on the CBS site, I keep thinking he's trying to overcompensate for something? I've never taken that as his true thoughts, just as the persona he's trying to present to the world, and it makes me sad that he can't even be honest with himself. But I digress.

The flashback seemed to end on a bit of a cliffhanger... are we going to get the second part to that? I've got to go back and reread all the chapters that have been done so far, just so I can keep all this history straight. =) The scene where Barney hustled some cuddles out of Lily was cute, and I love that Ted's doing his best to take care of Barney even though he doesn't know much about his medical condition and how to best take care of him.

God, reading this again makes me realise how little I contributed to this fic! You two guys did the majority of the work and you are really amazing!

I want to try and work around that and say the Bro Code he gave Marshall was his private copy. He did imply it wasn't written by him and was passed down through bro to bro since the times of the first Bros.

It was probably his hand written copy that also holds all the little drawings and such. The one he's typing here is the one being sold as a book to his fans. He's obviously going to change things around, add new codes and add footnotes, more drawings, organize them all, etc.
