Time to update this thing...
Well, the biggest news is that Jackie & I are going to Paris next summer! It was suppose to be in December but we just changed plans. But it's still SO exciting! I've always dreamed of going there, and the opportunity was so perfect, I couldn't pass it up. And on top of it I'm going with my best friend :) I applied for my passport today, so I am giving the agency 6 months to process it, which should be enough time considering they've been taking longer with all of the people panicking to get a passport now.
Chris moved to Newport News, VA for his 3 month long "deployment" as they call it. He's doing lots of training and drills to help prepare him for his real deployment in September to Cuba. What sucks though, is that he lost his phone on his way there, so I haven't talked to him much besides the short time he gets to come online every now and then. But he's getting a new one and should have it by next week sometime. The poor guy has had nothing but bad luck since he was here for Memorial weekend. On his way home he hit a deer, but luckily had minor damage to his car... Then bought a digital camera and that night put it in his backseat where the cooler spilt the melted ice on it and completely wrecked it. So then he had to buy a new one. And then got a ticket a few days later for his radar detector I gave him for his trip (which by the way in illegal in Virginia). And a few more small things that just added flame to the fire. Also, his grandpa isn't doing too well, so things just aren't in his favor right now. So if you think of it, send him a message just to say you're thinking of him, he would really love it.
And I'm still going to school. I have about 2½ more weeks left and then I'll be done for the summer. I can't wait to finish so I'll have more time to myself for once! I've been dying to scrapbook, so I know that will be one of the first things I do.
And... Congrats to class of 2007! Welcome to the real world :)
