Alright, definitely time to update!
Lets see... I had a job interview today and am hoping I will land something soon... I've applied to a hundred places so far, so maybe things will start unfolding for me :) I would love some extra cash!
Chris graduates from SOI training tomorrow. His mom is flying out tonight for it, which is really nice of her granted that she will only see him for a short time after the ceremony before he gets on the bus for Virginia. I'm sure it will be a fun trip. But things have been rough for Chris lately. Last night a kid ratted him out while he was on the phone with me and he had his cell taken away which caused him to get fired as squad leader... And he also found out that he wasn't even going to get promoted for being one anyways. The past 2 weeks have been full of drama for him. One guy stole his iPod and wrecked it, so he had to get a new one. Then another guy pulled a Kaybar (6 inch knife) on him which almost turned into a disaster. Luckily everything was dropped and forgotten about. He's gotten a lot of crap these last few weeks and I know he's more than ready to get the hell out of Geiger. I'm glad he is too. I think Virginia will be a much better change for him.
And that reminds me... Last week I made my flight arrangements to go visit him in March. I leave on March 1st (which is a Thursday) and come back that Monday. I'm extremely excited about it!! And one of Chris's friends' girlfriend is also going to come down the weekend I'll be there so we can meet and all hang out. I'm so anxious to meet her! She's really nice and we have a lot in common. Plus she'll have a car, so we will be able to get around... and for free :P I can't wait, it's going to be so nice spending time with Chris!
