[There was a phone booth here. It's gone now. In fact, he doesn't remember a church at all. It's not exactly reassuring. Something very strange and very bad must have happened, for him to just wake up somewhere else without any explanation. Which is definitely on his short list of things he didn't want to happen today. But, he can't find out what happened for sure if he's sitting on a dusty church floor.]
So much for getting home in time to read to my little girl...
[This isn't good. At. All. And he should probably try to find Roy and the Elrics, but he doesn't know how good the information'll do now. Or, more importantly, how to even get it to them from here. But he starts exploring the church, all the same.]
