Christmas Presents
A couple of days following the epic conversation at Wes and Aidan's, a package arrives on the boys' doorstep.
Inside the package is a brown manila envelope and a wine bottle in a simple wooden box. Inside the envelope is a stack of papers. The very top one is a hand-written note:
Wes and Aidan,
After thinking about it and discussing it with my boss, it was decided that from here on out all of your dealings with us are to be off the record. This minimizes the paper trail leading from us to you, so if the Goa'uld somehow manage to slip past us and infiltrate our organization they won't have anything else to connect us together outside of the fact that I happen to know you.
Please find enclosed any and all documentation that you've signed for us, along with my original reports on recent and past operations that we've been involved in together. They should burn nicely while you enjoy the other half of this package, which is a bottle of Ruuse wine from Teyla's people. It's got a hell of a kick, so be careful.
I've also included instructions on how to contact Agent Barrett directly should you find yourself in need of his services. Calling him will more than likely get you help faster than going through Landry in regards to anything related to recent events.
If you need me, I'll be in Tahoe visiting my brother for the rest of the holiday and will be heading back to Pegasus before the New Year. Hopefully I get to talk some sense into Mia at some point before that happens. Best of luck to me on that, I know.
