More Confessions (for mia_j)
So John managed to walk away from meeting Mia's friends in one piece, and he considered that a serious win. He had no doubts that rumors and speculations were now running rampant between them all, and that Wes was possibly ruminating over more than whether or not John would make a good boyfriend for Mia. He'd deal with any consequences or fallout from that when the time came.
Right now he had less than a week or so to spend with Mia and he had something he wanted to talk to her about before he had to leave. He was just waiting for the opportunity. Of course, the only people that would have been able to tell he had something on his mind were all on Atlantis, since nothing in the way he carried himself belied anything to the effect.
It took him a couple of days to finally get to the point of needing to broaching the topic A.S.A.P, and so he merely waited for the opening...
