Summary: Kirby goes trapping
Kirby stole out of the manor before sunrise, a shovel over her shoulder and a book on trapping in her pocket.
She had chosen a good site for her trap days before Now she dug out a good, deep pit. No way would any wolf be able to jump out of it. Then she covered it with branches and leaves to make it look like the ground around it, and masked her scent as the book had described by using natural substances that would cover it without raising suspicion.
She set out bait, then retreated carefully to the manor.
