"Morning Horatio," Kirby greeted the angel. "You're an early riser, too, huh? Here, erm, I'm looking for a book. Or books. I figured the library would be the place to go."
Gabriel frowned slightly as he stood and moved to the shelves. "I think Rose or someone mentioned an animal like that. Hmm. I didn't think wolves were that common so near towns."
"I didn't even know there were wolves on this island," Kirby said. "And it sure didn't look like a common one."
She took the books from him. "Thanks," she told him as she leaved through the first quickly. "Can I take these or do I have to read them here? Do I need to get a library card first?"
Gabriel laughed. "You can borrow them. I'll just key them in for the records." He glanced at the call numbers he'd carefully written out on labels on the book's spines before moving back to his desk and keying them into the computer. "On loan to Kirby Mitchell. There. Good luck with the trapping, and feel free to call on me if you need any more books or help with the wolf."

She casually leaned against a bookshelf. "I saw this beautiful white one in the woods outside. You wouldn't believe how pretty it was!"

He walked down a row of shelves and pulled out Land Sets and Trapping Techniques, and then Wolf and Coyote Trapping. "Here, I think these might help."
