Summary: The Doctor gets lost. Oops.
Perhaps wandering at night in an unfamiliar place was a bad idea. The Doctor didn't realize this until he he had gotten suitably lost. He wasn't even sure how he had gotten lost, normally he had a pretty good sense of direction despite what those who have known him might say. He tried retracing his steps, but that didn't help. He was almost sure he had gotten himself even more lost.
Feeling defeated, he sat down against the wall and fiddled with his bowtie, hoping someone else couldn't sleep.
