Sitting on the steps leading up to the hotel - and completely without caring that he was in the way of anyone going right up to the door -, Loki enjoyed the afternoon sun. He had missed so many bright and sunny days over the last centuries, that he felt like he had ample reason and justification to catch up on them.
He fished a cigarette from his pocket, put it between his lips and lit it with a thought.
