No, he was thinking about his more immediate plans. The man who was supposed to be another version of him... He kept confusing him. He needed to find out more about him, and he knew just the place to start - and that was just the think he needed an opportune moment for.
At the moment, Loki had placed himself near the stairs, intently examining part of the wall decoration. If his other self was going to leave the manor, he would pass by here for sure.
