P1 Jaejoong refused to open his eyes, but he knew he had to get up and visit his mother at two o'clock. He felt like construction workers had decided use loud machines inside his head.
Slowly, Jaejoong blinked until his ceiling came into focus and rolled over, propping himself up with one elbow to look at his digital clock.
4:56 PM.
Jaejoong's eyes widened and he couldn't stop himself from screaming.
Another scream accompanied his, causing Jaejoong to scream even louder and roll right off of the bed, his face smacking onto the corner of his bedside table in the process.
"Motherf---!" Jaejoong held his left eye with both his hands, feeling tears start to rise. Only when his bare back hit his carpeted floor did Jaejoong realize he was naked. Strange, he didn't normally sleep naked.
"J-Jaejoong?"
Jaejoong saw an outline of a head peek over the edge of his bed, but he couldn't make out the face, since his vision was still blurred. The voice that had spoken was male, and that scared Jaejoong a little bit.
"Are you okay?" The voice asked and climbed off of the bed and kneeled down beside Jaejoong, removing the man's hands from his eye to inspect the damage. "Oh, that's going to leave a bruise."
"Er, Yunho?" Jaejoong took a wild guess. With his head pounding like it was, he couldn't process the voice and match it to someone he knew.
"Uh, yeah. I'm gonna get you some ice, but first I'm going to put on some clothes." Yunho stood up and pulled a blanket over Jaejoong's naked form, much to his appreciation. Then he pulled on some pants and exited the room, leaving Jaejoong to think and wallow in pain.
So Yunho was naked too.
And he was in Jaejoong's bed.
And the night before they were drunk out of their minds.
"Oh my God!" Jaejoong shrieked and sat up, one hand over his throbbing eye and the other gripping his blanket tightly. Depite his headache he managed to put two and two together.
Yunho entered his room again with an ice pack in his hand, and Jaejoong found himself unable to look at his friend's bare chest.
"Yunho, do you remember last night?" Jaejoong muttered as he carefully pressed the ice to his eye.
"Actually..." Yunho scratched the back of his head, "I was hoping you remembered. I can't recall anything after my second beer."
"Phone," Jaejoong said and Yunho obeyed, grabbing his friend's cell phone off his bedside table and handing it to him.
Jaejoong squinted at his phone, trying to make out the keypad. When the numbers came into focus, he dialled.
"Hello?"
"Okay man, I know you know. So let's cut to the chase, no beating around the bush."
"Jaejoong?"
"Give it to me straight Junsu, did Yunho and I fuck?"
Yunho gasped at his question, his arms flying over his exposed chest as if he was trying to protect it from Jaejoong. "We most certainly did not!"
"How am I supposed to know?"
Jaejoong rolled his eyes as Yunho scrambled around looking for his shirt. "I woke up and Yunho and I were both naked in my bed. It's also past five o'clock. So what happened last night?"
"I don't know. I dropped you two off at your house and what you guys did afterwards is between you and Yunho."
"Alright then. Do you know what we were doing while you were driving us home? Do you know what we were doing before you left us in my house?"
"To be honest, in the car you guys were making out and dry humping. Then, before I left you guys, you were rolling around on the floor trying to lick each other's faces off."
Jaejoong had the urge to rub his temples, but both of his hands were occupied.
"What's he saying? We didn't really... you know... did we?" Yunho looked at Jaejoong with eyes full of worry.
Jaejoong stared at his friend with a blank expression, studying him.
Yunho was now fully clothed, but his v-neck shirt revealed three hickeys and his hair was sticking out in different directions. Jaejoong's eyes dreaded to look at his friend's forearm, but he knew he had to check.
Right there, on Yunho's left forearm below his elbow, was a bite mark.
Jaejoong groaned. "Alright Junsu, I'm coming over in an hour."
"Wait, but Jae---"
Jaejoong ended the call and checked his missed calls, which of course were all from his mother. He threw his phone carelessly onto his bed as well as the ice pack.
"Jae, the suspense is killing me, did we or did we not have... thing...?"
Jaejoong sighed and reached over and grabbed his boxers, slipping them on under his blanket and pulling on a shirt. "Yes, we did."
Yunho let out a terrified squeal. "Did Junsu confirm that?"
"No, but I'm pretty sure we did, because I seemed to have given you a generous amount of love marks. I've also bitten you on your left arm, something I usually do during sex, whether I'm drunk or not."
"No!" Yunho shouted, causing Jaejoong to jump a little.
"What?" Jaejoong stared at Yunho, standing up and walking over to his dresser to get a pair of pants. "You're not in a relationship, are you?"
"Well, no, I'm not..."
"Then it shouldn't be a problem."
"This is a huge problem!" Yunho stood up as well, watching intently as Jaejoong put on a belt. "How can you be fine with the fact that we had... er, the 's' thing?!"
Jaejoong stopped fiddling with his belt buckle and looked up at Yunho, his friend being a few inches taller than he was. "Wait... You're not.. Yunho," Jaejoong abandoned his belt to place a hand on the taller male's shoulder. Yunho flinched underneath the touch. "Were you a virgin?"
"That is such an embarrassing question!" Yunho's hands flew to his face, his ears heating up.
"Oh my God," Jaejoong burst out laughing, hand squeezing his friend's shoulder as he doubled over laughing. "You were!"
"Shut up, Jaejoong!" Yunho brushed his friend's hand off of his shoulder and glared, his cheeks red.
"Consider yourself lucky that I was your first then." Jaejoong lightly patted Yunho's cheek, snickering.
"But did I, er, 'do' you? Or did you 'do' me?"
Jaejoong stopped laughing immediately, and he straighted up with a sudden confused look gracing his face. "Well obviously... I was... And you were..." Jaejoong raised an eyebrow, his lips pursed. "Can you walk fine?"
Yunho walked around in a little circle and shrugged, "Yeah."
Jaejoong did the same, stopping in front of his friend again. "I can too. That means we didn't bang each other into the mattress too hard... Which reminds me, I have to wash my sheets..."
Yunho blushed at Jaejoong's words, "What do we do though? Last night we... did stuff, so that means we can't be friends anymore."
"What?" Jaejoong stripped his bed of its sheets and threw them down onto the floor with his blanket. He shoved his phone into his pocket and picked up the melted ice pack.
Yunho followed Jaejoong out of his room and down the stairs. "Friends don't... they don't... er..."
"They don't what? Fuck?" Jaejoong opened the freezer to put back the ice pack. When he closed the freezer door, he took his car keys that were hanging off of a nail in the wall. "Come on, we're going to Junsu's house."
"Jaejoong, I don't think you understand the situation!" Yunho slipped his shoes on and closed Jaejoong's door behind him.
Jaejoong patted his pockets, "Damn I forgot my house keys." The raven haired man entered his house again, scanning the living room and kitchen for his keys. "Where are they?"
"You and I 'did' each other last night. Which means our relationship is no longer friendship, it's something else."
"Screw it, Junsu doesn't live that far. I've got nothing worth stealing anyway," Jaejoong mumbled, leaving the house again, Yunho in tow.
"Are you listening?"
Jaejoong took the driver's seat and Yunho took the passenger's seat. He started the car engine and backed out of the driveway. "Yeah, go on."
"We need to be mature adults about this. We need to take responsibility." Yunho stated, nervously playing with the hem of his shirt.
"Jesus, Yun, responsibility? You want to get married or something?" Jaejoong waited four seconds at the stop sign before turning left.
"Jaejoong, this is serious. We had... 'that' last night, and have forever broken our friendship. Now we're connected differently. We should go out."
Jaejoong slammed down on the breaks, thanking God the street was empty. "Excuse me?"
Yunho was staring at Jaejoong with determination in his eyes, unfazed by the sudden stop. "Go out. We have to be in a 'love relationship'. We need to commit to each other since we had 'it'."
Jaejoong continued to drive, thanking Junsu this time for living so close to him. "You know, all we did was have sex. It's not like you're pregnant. It's not like I'm pregnant. We're both fine."
"You might be, but I'm not. You deflowered me, Jaejoong..."
Jaejoong pulled up into Junsu's driveway and shut the engine off. "What are you, a sixteen year old girl who clings to the guy that she gives her v-card to? We're not going to date Yunho."
Yunho got out of the car with Jaejoong and the older male locked his car. "Why not?"
"Because it's weird!" Jaejoong knocked on Junsu's door and rang the door bell a couple of times. "Open up!"
"COMING!" Came Junsu's voice on the other side of the door. "Can't you wait like a normal person?!" Junsu said, irritated, as Jaejoong pushed past him and into his house equally as annoyed.
"I'm not a normal person, now am I?" Jaejoong kicked off his shoes, leaving them strewn across the floor. Yunho tripped and stumbled over one of Jaejoong's shoes. "You know what? If anyone's not normal, it's Yunho!"
"Huh?" Yunho looked up from placing his shoes on an empty space on Junsu's shoe rack.
"You know what he said? Do you Junsu?" Jaejoong walked further into Junsu's house and went for his friend's coffee pot, spotting some dark liquid still remaining.
"No, I don't, Jaejoong. Want to tell me?" Junsu entered the kitchen as well with Yunho, picking up his own mug of coffee to sip.
Jaejoong took a cup out of Junsu's cupboard and poured the last of the coffee into the cup. "He wants us to get into a relationship, like a real relationship!"
The coffee that was in Junsu's mouth ended up all over his dining table. The man started to cough, and Yunho patted his back. "W-What? But you guys are friends!"
"That's what I said." Jaejoong gulped down the entire cup of coffee, ignoring the burning in his throat.
"I believe that you make love to the person you, well, love!" Yunho crossed his arms, glaring right back at Jaejoong and Junsu.
"Do you understand the meaning of a 'one night stand'?" Jaejoong carefully lowered his cup into Junsu's sink along with the coffee pot.
"You might be overthinking this, Yunho," Junsu was now wiping up the coffee on the table with paper towels. "You and Jaejoong should just forget this ever happened and continue on with your lives."
Yunho rolled his eyes, "Can we at least go on one date? At least one? It can't hurt, can it?"
"Okay, okay. Let me draw this out for you." Jaejoong snatched a paper towel out of Junsu's hand and took a pen from the metal tin attached to the front of Junsu's fridge. He slapped the paper towel to the wall, moving to the side to make sure Yunho had a clear view of the napkin. "This is me, and this is you." Jaejoong drew two stick figures. "This," He then proceeded to draw a heart in between the two stick figures before violently crossing it out, "Cannot happen. Number one, because we're friends. Number two, I don't date dudes. And number three, we're friends!"
Yunho swiped the pen out of Jaejoong's grip and drew a table below the scribbled out heart and between the sitck figures of him and Jaejoong. He then drew a single candle in the middle of the table and two chairs behind the figures. "It's just one date, Jaejoong."
Jaejoong blew his bangs out of his eyes and turned to Yunho, ready to cuss him off. But when his eyes locked with his friend's, he found himself drowning in those chocolate orbs, full of sincerity and hope.
Jaejoong sighed and rested his forehead on Yunho's collarbone, his index finger tracing the bite marks on taller male's left forearm. "Fine."
"Awesome!" Yunho wrapped his arms around his friend, giving him a hug.
Junsu raised an eyebrow, "So I'm guessing Yunho was the man last night, huh, Jae?"
"I'm sorry, did you say what I think you said?" Jaejoong pushed Yunho away to look at Junsu.
"Only a girl would agree to that kind of bullcrap!" Junsu sneered, ducking when Jaejoong hurled his car keys at him.
"Goddamn, is there a concert going on down here?" A voice croaked from the doorway.
"Whoa." Jaejoong momentarily forgot about killing Junsu when he saw Yoochun wobble into the kitchen, barely making it to a chair.
Changmin followed in after, wearing a pair of sunglasses Jaejoong had gotten for Junsu as a gag gift one Christmas. His hair had decided to reside on the right side of his head, spiking out diagonally. He plopped down in the chair next to Yoochun.
Yoochun faceplanted onto the table.
"Morning sunshines," Junsu sang, purposely turning the tap on at full blast, the sound of water hitting the metal sink practically echoing throughout the kitchen.
"Shut up, please." Changmin slammed his hand down on the table, causing Yoochun to yell in pain and jolt upright. "What time is it?"
Jaejoong chuckled at the sight of his two hungover friends, glancing up at the time on Junsu's microwave. "It's almost six thirty."
"Ugh." Yoochun grunted, placing his hands over his eyes.
"Why are they here?" Yunho asked, taking a seat across from Changmin, finding himself unable to contain his laughter at the sight of his younger friend wearing those ridiculous sunglasses.
"I was too lazy to drop them home. Changmin kept touching my face and Yoochun wouldn't stop snoring." Junsu rinsed out the coffee pot and started to make more. "You guys gonna stay for dinner? I'll order out."
"Yeah, fine. But I have to go home and make sure no one robbed me. I lost my house keys." Jaejoong held out a hand, signaling for Junsu to give him his car keys.
"I have your house keys. Last night you and Yunho were too busy getting it on, so I had to lock up for you." Junsu placed Jaejoong's house and car keys in his outstretched palm.
"Jaejoong and Yunho were what now?" Yoochun removed his hands from his eyes to look at his friends.
"None of your business," Jaejoong snapped and exited the kitchen.
