Random question for people in their mid to late 30s, or older:
Do you remember Disney Princesses being a "thing" growing up?
I don't - but, I don't know if my perception is skewed because of my tastes in entertainment as a kid (robots, talking animals, anything sci-fi), or if there is a real difference due to factors like availability on DVD/VHS and the Disney store.
So, was it a thing that I didn't notice because Robin Hood as a fox and Donald's nephews chasing pirates were clearly the highlights of the Disney universe, or was it really not a thing until the 90s?
