I'm really glad you liked it, and that the voices are still right.

I've got a little something planned in the same 'series' as these two, but it might take some time - depends on how quickly I can get my marking done tonight!

I'm really enjoying your stories. They do a really good job at putting both points of view into perspective.

I'm glad you're enjoying them, because I am too. My original plan for this one was to be completely Ianto's POV again, but it didn't work. Then Tosh tapped me on the shoulder, and very politely asked to be included.

I think I struggled to define Jack and Ianto's relationship almost as much as they did themselves, but I re-watched 'Adrift', and realised I just had to do something with broken Ianto to try and fix him a bit.

Nice conclusion. Yeah that they get a fresh start.

The relationship they had by 'They Keep Killing Suzie' had to come from somewhere, especially given how broken it was in 'Cyberwoman'. A fresh start, where Ianto realises how difficult Jack's position is sometimes, seemed like the best way.

I agree. I enjoy trying to explore that time in their relationship. It's so complex and many different things could have happened.

In a way, I love that there was so much unsaid and unseen in their relationship, because it gives us a lovely big sandbox to play in :) There are so many things that could have happened that you never see the same idea being rehashed again and again.
