End of Innocence update
I feel bad that I haven't updated EoI in forever, and I wanted to let you know that I haven't abandoned it, and I am actually working on it right now - I really struggled starting off Chapter 8, but it's finished now, and I'm working on Chapter 9.
Once I work out exactly where I want to split the two chapters - I keep changing my mind - I'll start posting again. Neither chapter is going to be short - whichever way I split, C8 is over 4,000 words, and I reckon C9 is going to be similar.
I also have plans to do an alternate ending, diverging from the established 'canon' events of The End and giving me a bit more scope to play with. And fix that hideous ending to Dean's experience.
