Just a few more adjustments to the transporters and I believe they'll be fully functional in regards to transdimensional beaming. I apologize if I've seemed a bit absent as of late - between catching up on the paperwork left over from the virus and working on this project I've been a bit busy. If I've missed anything, would anyone care to fill me

paperwork paperwork paperwork, spending v-day with the ship, goddamn ducks, engineering, *ddd, tag spam, i love the enterprise, *ic

Well, I've had the basics down awhile now. Really it's just a matter of making adjustments, now.

Within a reasonable margin of error, I assume?

Can't be any error at all, in this line of work.

That's why I said "reasonable". What's reasonable is always relative.

Aye, well. What's reasonable in this case is none at all.

There we are then. Does that mean we're going to try Operation Surprise Otherworldly Cylinder Part Two at some point in the near future?

Most likely, aye.

Oh, it'll be great, lad, just you wait.

[...yes. Yes, he knows Sam is Lucifer, and he's still calling him 'lad'.]

[Sam finds this hilarious, and somewhat endearing. Oh Scotty, never change.]

Believe me, I am. Transdimensional travel technology, that's brilliant.

It's more than brilliant - if it works, I'll be the first person tae perfect not one but two ways o' usin' the transporters no one else's even dreamed o' doin'.

Alright then, would genius do you as an adjective? Or do I need to get more creative than that?

Well, I wouldn't want to seem like I'm bragging.

It's not bragging if I'm the one saying it, is it?

In all seriousness though, that really is something. What was the first way?

Transwarp beaming. Transporting something or someone onto a ship traveling at warp.
