[The audio feed cuts in as though in the middle]

[Brief pause, then.]

Repeat. Alliance Command. This is Commander Kaidan Alenko. Come in Alliance Command.

[Several muffled clicks and beeps can be heard, then Kaidan mumbles.]I'm sure this is the band. Why won't they respond.

Well, saving the galaxy only to have a ship ripped out from under you by something you didn't think existed will do that to you. Sort of gives you some perspective.

Helped. I helped save the galaxy. Didn't change the fact of me getting labeled a hero. Got a promotion out of the deal, though, so it wasn't all bad.

Well, Rachel says I left a bunch of stuff behind. I wonder if I left an apartment to go along with it.
