crazy/relaxing weekend... yes its possible to have both
it was an interesting weekend... pretty relaxing for the most part which was what i wanted...
Friday after work me and the guys (Cade, Jesse, and Taylor) all went to Mamacitas to get lunch and some drinks since it was a half day then I came home and took a power nap and we met up at Cades to pre-drink, which you really have to do when going to Roc Bar (a double mixed drink is $14)... we had so much fun, I managed to polish off a whole bottle of wine myself before we left... dont ask me how cause I dont know... the whole night was a blast until the end of the night... a bunch of people met up with us there... me, Cade, Taylor, and two of his friends from high school met up with Jesse, Nicki, Melissa, and a few of there friends... then Adam, Andrew, Mike, and Brian and some of there friends left flying saucer to come meet up and hang out... well the two groups of guys didnt exactly mesh... I was trying to catch up with Adam and Brian and all them cause I hadnt seen them in a while and one of Taylors friends kept trying to dance with me and putting his arm around me and trying to pull me back over to where they were all standing... it was pretty frustrating.. I would even be dancing with Adam and Brian or someone and he would come up and stick his arm around me in between me and the guys... it was really pissing me off... so then I talked to Cade near the end of the night who was about rolling on the floor he was laughing so hard and he told me that after Todd, the guy who was doing it started in the begining he told him to "turn the heat up" and basically try harder... whch was amusing for them, but it was really annoying for me... well we went to leave and i was going back with cade and all them cause my car was at his place and we saw the guys (adam and all them) while we were leaving and somehow they started talking crap to each other... and both groups wanted me to stay with them and leave the other guys and they almost got in a fight and it was not cool at all... i dont know what it is with guys and fighting... well then we are driving home, well Taylor is driving us home and he is beyond drunk and 3 guys drive up and stop next to us at the red light and start talking to us... well then as we drive off taylor had gotten a pizza (they sell them outside the bars in houston, good idea for a buisness in BR if you want some money)...but the guys thought that he was throwing it at them or something and so they threw a lighter into taylors window and he got pissed and threw it at this dudes car and there was like a mark so then that dude threw something at taylors car and taylors other friend in the backseat must be on steroids because he got sooooo mad, like crazy mad... they had to hold him down and everything from jumping out of the car and attacking the guys... it was pretty insane... then we went back to cades and taylor and all them ended up driving back to sugarland, but i was smashed myself so i just stole cades bed and he took the couch but it was a pretty crazy night.... fun til the end then just crazy
Saturday i didnt wake up til 2 in the afternoon... which is the latest ive slept in forever... it was nice though... and then i came home and realized my phone was dead... it was old so i wasnt really shocked, but still... i went to cingular to try and get a phone and wasnt getting anywhere so the guy told me i could buy a go phone (prepaid minute phones) at walmart for like 20 dollars and put my sim in it til i decide what to do so i did just that... i think we are going to get a new family plan and add my brother soon anyways so i was glad to fix this without having another 2 year contract... then last night me and Mike went and saw Chuck and Larry which was SOOOO funny... i love adam sandler... and then met up with adam and andrew and brian and joe and a few other of mikes coworkers at some low key bar downtown and just drank a little and played some pool and stuff
today i went to church and then came home and took a nap, which i shouldnt have cause i prolly wont be able to sleep tonight and i wanted to go to a museum or they have this chinease gardens that are supposed to be cool to see and i wanted to do something like that today but oh well so i ended up just going grocery shopping at walmart and came back and watched Notting Hill...
its going to be a fun week i have two Astros games to go to with Southwestern, one wed for all the interns and then one saturday for the east texas team (we have a suite!!!) so im really excited about that... it should make the week go by faster, that and i worked way overtime last week in the field so im hoping to only have to work 8 hour days this week instead of 8.5 ...
