Birthday week/weekend update
Wed after school I had to work on lab with Brandon and then I came home and Joseph took me to dinner at Serranos for a yummy chimichanga and margaritas... then we went and saw "V for Vendetta" which I had my doubts about but it was very very good.... I highly recommend it...
Thursday after all day of classes and watching 3/4ths of the game here at the apt... me Alena Rhonda and Erin all headed out to Freds for invitational/my bday party.... we finished up watching the game.... Geof showed up and Joseph and as the night went on more and more people showed up... Ski, John, Meg-O, Megan, Lacey, Lane, Lauren, Nina, Aaron, Grady, Brandy, Hali, Tiffany, and Ross.... it was fun... then at about 11 I was tired and wanted to go home but Hali and Tiff had just showed up so they wanted me to stay... but at about 1ish I had Geof bring me home cause I was so tired....
Slept late Friday and missed my first two classes all semester... figured it was ok cause it was my birthday and Greg took notes for me.. I could have made the second one but instead I finished up my homework that was due in statics and went to statics... came home and did NOTHING all day... it was great... i think im sick... i hope i didnt get mono from Alena... im goin to go to the health center next week to make sure... i havent drank after her so its prolly not.. i just want to make sure... then last night Ashley came over and we watched a movie... some movie she had... forgot the name... it was cheesy and she cried and i kinda laughed... i guess that goes to show you that i really have become a tad cynical at times.... normally i would have balled through half the movie... but instead i mocked most of it... it was cute... but yea...
Woke up at 6AM this morning... dunno if thats cause i went to bed at midnight or what... but i went back to bed and slept til 11... got ready and im fixing to go over to Charlies to watch the game with Michelle and a bunch of other peeps... GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
Im so pumped that we beat Duke.. we like have to win out now.. we beat DUKE!!!! I had a feeling we would when we came out and made the first points and we were playing hard... got a bit worried when THomas and big baby got two fouls right off the bat and 4 each not long after the start of the second period... but we pulled it out... just imagine how crazy good we will be next year... we are only losing mitchell really... and our freshman and one soph all started and played against duke this year... cant get better practice than that... im jazzed... next year we should be practially unstoppable... i mean we started out this year unranked and look at where we are... TOP 8 and we beat Duke the basketball powerhouse of the last decade....
