Today was my son's first day in Junior High. He comes home with a so-so report. His biggest beef was with the librarian who brought in a Harry Potter action figure to teach the kids about the school rules and "good" vs "evil". This kid has been reading the books all summer and we have been discussing them in detail. He was rolling his eyes while telling me. He said he really felt for the 8th graders who had to help by holding "good" vs. "evil" signs. This librarian was saying that Harry Potter was "good" and should be emulated. Isn't Harry the kid who break the rules at school. Has this librarian even read the books?
I think this is just one of the things to just laugh about and let go.
