1. do you have any odd food likes or dislikes? strange combinations you enjoy or specific things you won't try?
Hate Broccoli. I find specific foods very bitter when others can't taste it, coffee, green tea, broccoli, other similar cooked veggies. Other than that I can be fairly adventurous. I love spicy foods (indian, tai, mexican). Although as I've aged I've realized I enjoy things more "medium" spicy instead of as hot as you can get it. Not sure I'd every want to eat chicken's feet, or insects.
2. what do you like so much about used bookstores? :D
It's hard to describe it. I love the way they smell, and I love the way some are just mazes of old stacked books. I'm not someone who really likes to shop, but I can spend hours in any bookstore.
3. is there somewhere in the world you'd love to live? why?
In a city, Boston, San Francisco, or another mid sized city. Somewhere with a bit of character but not too big. I've never really lived anywhere but in the suburbs and I like the idea of living somewhere I could walk to everything I need.
4. are there any "quotes" that inspire or motivate you or changed the way you approached things in your life? and if you like would you share one, two or a few?
Not really. I'm more inspired by books I've read. I can't really think of anything off the top of my head, perhaps it's because I haven't had anything that has profoundly changed my life in the past few years.
5. tell me about a happy memory from your childhood.
I loved the crick that runs in the woods behind the church I attended when I was a kid. Many Sundays after sunday school I would go back there are poke it the water, looking for crayfish, bugs, and fish.
6. is there any new (or old) music you are enjoying lately?
I really like Mumford & Sons.
7. what is something you like about yourself? ;)
I like my hair. I have long, bleach blond hair. I do very little with it except wash it and brush it and have never really wanted to change it.
