Twenty Questions

Dec 20, 2007 22:49

As promised to Wyntir Rose over a month ago, now...

Character Meme!
  1. Choose a few of your own characters. Five at the most.
  2. Make them answer the following questions.
  3. Tag three people.

Feel free to go ahead and add some questions yourself!
I added one to make it an even twenty! And fleshed out some of the others and rearranged to make it more interview-worthy. My additions in italics. Keep in mind my OCs were asked these things out of the hearing of the others in my head space, separately and privately. None of them heard anyone else's answers.

-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-
  1. What do you prefer to be called?
    • Starrunner - My name is Starrunner.
    • Cobweb - *looks surprised by the question but disdains to answer - he once told me he has no preference*
    • Mitzi York - Mitzi!
  2. What are you?
    • Starrunner - I am a Cybertronian.
    • Cobweb - *gives me a hard smile as if to say, 'can you not see me?' - he is a Transformer*
    • Mitzi York - Ummm.... I'm a woman? What are you looking for here? *That will do.*
  3. How old are you?
    • Starrunner - A few of your years.
    • Cobweb - *he's glaring at me now, optics white and hard, but he deigns to answer* Very.
    • Mitzi York - Twenty-six.
  4. What is your job?
    • Starrunner - Autobot Air Support.
    • Cobweb - *still glaring* Technician.
    • Mitzi York - I'm a thermal analyst, a mechanical engineer.
  5. Where were you born?
    • Starrunner - Born? Created? In Shockwave's workshop.
    • Cobweb - *his glare turns thoughtful* This form was created in Shockwave's workspace. My spark came from Vector Sigma.
    • Mitzi York - Shreveport, Louisiana.
  6. Boy or girl?
    • Starrunner - *processes a tick* I am a mech. Reproductively, that means I would qualify as a 'boy'. My race does not create new sparks very often because the energy loss from one's own spark is debilitating. Since there are no femmes around, the new one's spark energy must come from only mechs; mechs have lower spark-energy-per-unit-mass than femmes do so giving enough from two or three mechs to create a new viable spark for even a Casseticon would put the creators at great risk.
    • Cobweb - *looks truly surprised by this one* What? *he ignores me when I explain*
    • Mitzi York - Girl.
  7. What's your height?
    • Starrunner - *cocks his head to one side* In which mode? Root, right? Short for a Seeker, about average for an Autobot.
    • Cobweb - *seems to approve of an objective question* Two-thousand seventy millimeters.
    • Mitzi York - Five-foot-eleven.
  8. What's your favorite food?
    • Starrunner - Swoop shared an energon goodie with me once. That was the best fuel I have ever taken.
    • Cobweb - *disdains to answer*
    • Mitzi York - Peanut butter and jelly. Blackberry. Don't tell my ma. If she asks, it's her Easter Ham.
  9. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
    • Starrunner - I have never tried it. I doubt Ratchet would approve it for our consumption.
    • Cobweb - *narrows optics* You are wasting my time.
    • Mitzi York - Raspberry Sherbert.
  10. Do you have any bad habits?
    • Starrunner - I don't know. Ratchet would have told me or made fun of me if I did. So, no.
    • Cobweb - *laughs*
    • Mitzi York - My ma says bein' a Browncoat's a bad habit, *she winks at me, doing her best Kaylee impression* but she don't hesitate to babysit when there's a shindig.
  11. Are you a virgin?
    • Starrunner - *scans databanks for definition* Yes.
    • Cobweb - *disbelieving the question* What?
    • Mitzi York - *laughs* Oh, hell no. That ship sailed, well before the manifest was ready.
  12. Who's your mate/spouse? If not, got anyone in mind?
    • Starrunner - *laughs* I'm not into that, yet. *looks away* Kisses are nice, though...
    • Cobweb - *seriously answering this one* Astrotrain is my only intimate friend. I will not agree to create any new sparks, so no mate.
    • Mitzi York - *kind of sing-songy on the first three words* My baby's daddy's name is Chris Johnson, but we had no desire to get married. Bumblebee and I get along much better. He's my friend for sure, and a surprising lover. Who knows if we can make a go at being a committed pair?
  13. Do you have any kids? What are their names?
    • Starrunner - Offspring? No.
    • Cobweb - Creations? Yes. Starrunner.
    • Mitzi York - Yes. I have a little boy named Byron.
  14. Have you killed anyone?
    • Starrunner - No.
    • Cobweb - *appraising look, probably wishing he hadn't told me that last bit* He has no idea that so much of his spark is mine. Keep it that way.
    • Mitzi York - No.
  15. Do you hate anyone? Why?
    • Starrunner - No.
    • Cobweb - Starscream. He ruined my original form and left me for dead. *he pauses and I assume he's done, starting the next question before he continues* He left me for dead under the shell of that stupid little Autobot. That Minibot meant to protect me - me, Comettracker, second only to Megatron at the time! - from friendly fire. Stupid, selfless altruist! If he hadn't done what he did, Starscream would have succeeded completely. *he pounds one fist into the other palm* Starscream was so inept, he could not even do that right. I had been telling him for a stellar cycle to always confirm his kills! He could not trouble himself to be sure my spark was extinguished. Coward. *his volume drops sharply* Because of him, I will never be free of that stupid Autobot. I can't even kill him myself, because part of my spark is mixed up with his. Any serious contemplation of killing Starrunner makes my spark ache. Terribly. Shockwave... *he trails off, dark thoughts evident in the shift of his faceplates* I should hate Shockwave. I do not because he was simply trying to most efficiently use limited resources when he split my spark.
    • Mitzi York - No, but the more Bumblebee tells me about his life, the more I think I may hate that Megatron person.
  16. Have you any secrets?
    • Starrunner - No.
    • Cobweb - *sly look, seeming to regain his aplomb* Not since your last three questions.
    • Mitzi York - *purely serious* Yes, and they will remain my own.
  17. Do you love anyone? Who?
    • Starrunner - Yes. Cobweb, but he doesn't know it.
    • Cobweb - Yes. Starrunner. It scares me. Sometimes Astrotrain, and that scares me more. The feelings for Starrunner are logical: he carries part of my spark. Loving him is self-love and sensible, if troublesome. Astrotrain... *pause* I meant to hijack that transport and take us *he means himself and Starrunner* far away from anywhere the others would look. It was not a dumb transport. It was Astrotrain. He lets me own him. I find that he also owns me, to some extent.
    • Mitzi York - Of course. My baby, my 'Bee, my ma and my sisters.
  18. What do you do to relax?
    • Starrunner - I like sitting in the galley of the Autobot ship, it's nice to watch the Autobots interact with each other.
    • Cobweb - *sheepish look* Share Astrotrain's company, when Starrunner is safe.
    • Mitzi York - Hang out at Fireflyfans.net on-line and IM Bumblebee.
  19. What's something that you like?
    • Starrunner - Wearing an Autobot badge.
    • Cobweb - Starrunner safe.
    • Mitzi York - Left that one wide open, didn't you? I enjoy meeting other Browncoats.
  20. Where do you like to sleep?
    • Starrunner - Recharge? Anywhere that I don't have to worry about being scavenged for parts, either because the place is secure or because I have someone to watch out for me. I like being in the Ark because of that. Even when I was in the dark, I had no sense of being stalked.
    • Cobweb - *scowl* I prefer to recharge in either Starrunner's or Astrotrain's company.
    • Mitzi York - Lately I most enjoy sleeping in my tent, on a campground, because Bumblebee can be with me that way.
