Aerith had remained the quiet observer during the brief, casting glances around the team whenever the opportunity became avaiable. It was a rather interesting team that Veld had assembled. AVALANCE, a Turk, and ex-Soliders on the same team? She never expected to see this sort of of assembly working together. Then again, she'd seen many interesting things in her (rather shortened) lifetime ( ... )

Veld watched the change in Aerith's face, though he kept his own blank. He'd have to get her alone to talk to her.

"There is always a chance of looters, but currently, Sephiroth is contained and I would assume his retrieval would be the top priority for his copies." Veld didn't want to also mention that he was hoping to get a shot at Yazoo, fighting fair was never something he exactly cared to do or prided himself on.

"If there are others, we will address them on a case by case basis, but I'm disinclined to trust people who say they are here to help me without proof of that first."

Though there were one or two people who could crop up and have Veld's trust, but they would have to be back from the dead. He'd already been lucky in regards to his daughters, Veld wasn't getting his hopes up.

Cloud stared blandly at Veld when Veld gave him the Look for being late. Veld nodded. "Yes, You, Zack and Elfe take front if need be in an attack." He looked at each of them in turn. "I don't want any crazy heroics or a competition for the most effective cutting tool. Keep that in mind." He began packing. "Haru, you stay close to me, Aerith and I will take up the rear and cover."

He smirked. "Of course, if it's something small, just stay out of my way, punk."
