Summary: Veld wants Vincent to meet his sister. Mina wants to meet her brother's partner. Vincent wants to hide under a rock. Business as usual!
Vincent was not pacing, only because he was Vincent and thus such physical tics were rare. Even he was tempted, however.
This was absolutely ridiculous. He was far past the point where he had any reason to be anxious about meeting people, particularly the family of those he cared about. If it went well then he'd be surprised, if it went poorly then he'd just have to do damage control to make sure it didn't reflect poorly on Veld. Easy.
Really.
He took a deep breath and raked his human hand through his hair, leaning back in his seat slightly, just waiting for a knock at the door. Mina was due at one-thirty. Any minute.
Pacing was starting to sound better and better as each of those minutes passed.
