[He didn't think she'd be too impressed when she realized the reason for the break in the close proximity between Elena and them. Getting Elena back was already at the forefront of Sephiroth's mind since trying to prevent her from being snatched at the time had been interrupted. Elfe should have, would have paid dearly simply for the idea that they could take something of his... had some apparent guardian force not intervened

But, it seemed these thoughts were needed to be reinforced more directly. Like a high speed train smashing from behind into the small brain space behind his eyes Sephiroth was made to pause and rest a hand on a the nearest wall while his balance righted itself. When Mother wanted to talk she was loud enough but the sheer volume felt behind these words was more staggering than anything up until now. Sephiroth's other hand was removed slowly from cradling his head between both temples, pounding with contagious anger.]

[Hadn't he pondered about Gold Saucer just before the blow up? It was impossible for it to be coincidence that she referred to it now but then the disturbing question: had she gleaned the idea from his thoughts or had his thoughts been directed by her in the first place. Was this just clarification that his borrowed memories weren't complete fabrications? Did it really matter?

Not much behind the burning urge to get Elena back and to do something about being able to do that NOW. Sephiroth couldn't muster the words to reply again to Mother but hopefully his understanding is crystal]
