Sure enough, the tramcar made it to the bottom if a bit slower than would be appreciated. Not only that but within a few minutes it was loaded with a few people and the mechanism at on the ground level was operated and it began it's steady but slowed ascent back to the entrance level platform. Sephiroth wondered for a moment if perhaps Vega had caught the thought of his from all those many feet below.

Good Job He forced a thought outward, down a link he imagined would be there but unproven, untested and therefore quite possibly just a figment of his imagination at this early stage. It's not like he'd spent as much time with Vega as he had with Elena. For a bond to be founded? Mother hadn't chosen her?

He didn't even have to cast much of a look at one of the civilians that had hopped out of the tramcar to get them to move into the control booth from which he'd emerged. Keen eyes watched Vega jump out of the tramcar and shift red hair out of her eyes as he approached the tramcar docking area and offered a small nod to her comment. He turned to survey the area, eyeing particularly the main entrance with it's closed but passable entry gates.

Having never set foot in Gold Saucer personally it felt a little odd to be stood at the threshold of a children's theme park and to perceive it as their next step forward when logic would suggest a step back. He hoped, as they explored the park something would trigger another borrowed memory and he would know where to go to gain access to the lift shaft that undoubtedly ran to the prison at the bottom.

"So, when was the last time you came here?" Masamune was already held, relaxed but ready pointed down towards the ground off to the side. Sephiroth looked at Vega over a silver-graced shoulder through the gap behind a silver bang as it hung forward.

"Two or three years ago, I spent a lot of time gambling." Vega said after a few moments thought. Had it been that long, or more recently? No, she was sure it had been a couple years since she last visited properly. Still, Gold saucer never changed, not that she had even noticed when she visited.

"Most of the layout should be the same though, so we won't have any problems finding our way." Vega said confidently. Gold Saucer had a pretty straightforward way of getting from place to place. Not the most comfortable way but still pretty plain to find your way.

Gambling. Now there was something he'd never have guessed. Sephiroth averted his gaze back to the entrance to the theme park and started to approach it. Leather and silver hair swayed with each movement just as it should do.

He paused for a moment beside the entry gates to look over a map attached to a ticket office wall. Taking in how to access each area but, more importantly which area would logically hold the access lift that was needed.

As Vega got into range behind him, he spoke once more just as she'd stepped close enough to hear.

"I wouldn't want to have to search the whole park, just to find an access lift. The arcade level seems logical. Gambling types tend to be the less-friendly, but check it's position against the trunk, if you like of this giant gold tree. Doesn't seem to warrant a hidden lift shaft."

Vega kept a couple feet behind Sephiroth and listened as she looked over the map. That's right, that was probably the last place anyone would look for a hidden shaft. What trouble could start in an arcade, why would anyone there try to get to the prison?

"You're right. And part of Wonder Square has been under construction for some time. We could possibly find something there."

"Hm." Sephiroth uttered in agreement as he headed toward the nearest entry gate, vaulting over the barrier closed usually against those without a ticket. Closed against all of the public now, but not against them. He could go anywhere on the Planet and wasn't about to let a little public gate stunt this notion.

He waited for Vega to follow before adding. "I hope the chutes work without power."

Vega followed him, a quick jump over the gates, and glanced around. Even if the chutes didn't work without power, they could find another solution. A spell might be to much but with enough man power-

"Depending on how many go down, we could rig something of a dumbwaiter. That way, whether there's power or not, we can get up and down without to many problems." Vega said.

"There's plenty around the park that we can use for it."

Sephiroth wasn't entirely sure they were on the same track, but instantly caught on that Vega was perhaps referring to the lift shaft once they had found it.

The pair of them swept into the first lobby room, which connected via all the various slide-like chutes to all the other parts of the park. Sephiroth caught a quick glance around the room before following the "Chocobo" word boldly stated on the floor towards it's ominous black hole. That would be the Wonder square right? Where they held the races...

It all looked ever so eerie with only the emergency lighting on. Bright yellows, pinks and blues dimmed to sickly shades in the dim lighting. Dark chutes appeared all the more menacing. To think they'd have to jump into one of them shortly, Sephiroth didn't find desirable at all. His initial plan to simply fly down to the base of this strange structure and work his way back up with his army to-be seemed entirely more sensible right in that second.

But what if he'd have to fight some of them, surely they weren't all so cut off to not know who he was. That Meteorfall happened, and Geostigma following it? It made more sense to go down from the Saucer with Vega and the other manpower they had available now from North Corel.

What pleasure human children had plunging all of their trust in the Park's owners by throwing theirselves into these chutes Sephiroth could only imagine. He looked back slightly to Vega and tipped his head in the direction of the Chocobo wording. Heavy silver hair hardly moved though.

"That way."
