With Sephiroth on the loose and the Remnants back, Yuffie could only assume it was going to get worse before it got better. She made a text to Rude and started out in her own jeep.
This classified as far, FAR, worse than she had anticipated. Yuffie slammed to a halt in the jeep and cursed herself for going on this one alone. Where the hell were Cloud or Vincent when you needed a GodHand style smackdown? She hoped that he hadn't seen her.

Oblivion snarled. It was a rose to die. He spun on his heel, the void rose and fell like a wave, sweeping out towards the jeep.

A few white feathers fluttered around the jeep to settle around the young Lady of Wutai, the voice shifting to a deepness that is barely audible and holding a sudden strength in submission.
"You have proven yourself in judgement. What is your command?"

When Rude showed up she blinked. "Oh, hey, Rudie." Even though she sounded jovial, Yuffie didn't feel it. Nero was Bad Business(tm) and she was hearing things, that voice in her dreams was deep and melodic. What do I want? I want this guy off my island! He'll ruin everything! Yuffie thought harshly. Wutai couldn't handle more destruction. It wasn't fair or right. This was her home and her people.
She needed to protect them.

The new arrival was met with a look of confusion. Somewhere, somewhere in the back of his mind, the Sable recognized that it was a danger to him. Yet voices far louder drowned out that bit of common sense. Nero's wild eyes shifted from the monster to the duo before him, pale hands clenched tightly at his sides.
"Where is he?" Nero's voice broke. Pathetic, pitiful. A wreck of a man, unable to function without his better half. No hope - they'd taken that away, Hojo had robbed them all but Valentine had struck the killing blow. Had to. Weiss wasn't here, Weiss wasn't with him, he was not with his brother.
