Summary: She can't take the kindness anymore
Scarlet bit back a grimace. The area that she was wandering was... busted down to say the least. Midgar had once been such a proud city. A city worthy of kings and gods. Now it was a place where people scurried like moles. She didn't know why she fled the safety of the bar. There were a lot of things Scarlet didn't know, she was hoping for rain. It always made things in Midgar feel cleaner, and it was something she missed.
Mostly she couldn't handle the kindness anymore. Tifa hadn't been cruel to her. In fact, she'd given Scarlet clothes that actually fit her and been far too nice. After everything Scarlet wasn't entirely sure how to react and it was quite obvious that she didn't have any power yet. She began to pick through the ruins. There were so many things that may or may not be salvageable. She pulled a gear out of the rubble and brushed it off. It was depressing, she realized.
