Wah, one week has passed. I must say, this first week of school has been alright; felt like it's going by slow but we all know what happen when tests comes around.... yup, time would zoom right by. So far, the courses has been interesting, especially Traditional Chinese Vet Medicine and Surgical Operation. The former one has been something I've been looking for since September 2006; it is probably also the only thing that forces me to return to Beijing to continue; the only thing that kept me hanging on. The latter, well, I just wanna say the prof is great.
Speaking of which, most of the courses this term are related to clinical practices. Thus, most of the courses are taught by the profs from the clinical section of the faculty. Majority of the profs this term aren't as dull or plain or boring as the ones in the first term. I suppose I might just enjoy something this term perhaps.
Oh yea, marks.... donno my marks yet and I won't able to find it out until perhaps Tuesday. I thought the administry office at my faculty would have my marks by now; guess not; and the grades department of the school "are working on getting my name into the systems and registering the grades in......over time" -----> that's great eh? The only marks I know of are the ones I chose during the term; they are medicinal chemistry, zoonosis, and animal nutrition. I also happened to know my phamacology score too. I'm amazing how well I performed for my electives, especially med. chem. Getting that high mark assures me that my holiday didn't go to waste. It also assures me that 4 years in UBC (especially my fourth year), struggling on bullshitting with my reports and essays didn't go to waste as well; I actually DID learn something from UBC. And.... i thought i did poorly in pathology.... turned out it was phamacology. lol. I donno my pathology mark yet, but i don't think it'll be anythig pleasant.
My first lab starts Monday, and then my second lab starts next week and then my third and forth labs starts the week after next week. By 4th week of school, I'll be so busy with labs and studyings....hahahahaha... I probabaly will whine a lot here too.
This term really is very full. But I still forced myself to take one unrestricted elective - Yoga! That's right and it's not a typo. It's YOGA! But I heard there's a restriction to only 20 students per class. Therefore, if more than 20 students want to take that class, a lottery will take place to randomly draw 20 students. How interesting. It's not that I'm really interested in yoga.... in fact, i never was interested in yoga. I mean, i rather play volleyball (which I hate btw) than do yoga. But I don't want to spend money on getting equipment, like that of golf and tennis and I seriously need something to get my ass exercising at least a couple of hours per week (which I know is still bad).
i can ramble on and on of random thoughts, but that really gets to nowhere
Wah, one week down and seventeen left to go...... seriously, counting down is painful, especially with 5 months left still
Can't believe how much I miss Sticky-Mango already....
