Ok, to start off, Monday Jazz Band rehersal during lunch got all of our music played and it was completely awesome. D bought us pizza, thats was good. After school monday, I went to campus life, it was ok there then headed towards Gone Wired Cafe with a bunch of ppl again, it was fun. Tuesday, I stayed after for the PASS Program which was kinda boring but Candace was there and her, Mrs. Coe and I were talkin it was cool. After the PASS program I got a ride home with Candace and thats was fun, when I got home, my 3 sisters left for my Grandpa's house and my mom and dad went to the store and I was here by myself waiting for Kyle to come pick me up and take me to All City practice. All City was pretty good. We played Cheese Cake, Confirmation, Shiny Stockings and Dat Dere. It was fun. Yesterday, I stayed after again for the PASS program and then after that I came home and fell asleep after eating and doing my homework. Oh also, at lunch on wednesday I think it was, I helpped Kasey learn some of the bass stuff, like I showed her 8-8-16, doubles, triple, and bucks (9 and 3), Kasey actually did really good, she got through everything pretty good, she does need a little work on building some chops so Kasey if you read this take some of the things I showed you slow and then then gradually increase the tempo, ok? Today, I stayed after the PASS program again, and I finished packet 5 and took my test, did pretty good on it. After that I went to the band room to put my stuff away and after that I went to get me a pop. Went back up to the band room and found my 2 hoodies, and relaxed for a bit then helpped D take some stands to his car. Came back up and then we were getting ready to leave for Magdalina's, but we needed another car to come so Mrs. Nelson came and helpped out, when we get there I find out no had brought my music for me for the gig. So during the whole gig I was playing with no music and I did it!!!!! It was awesome. I also did some improv solos. that was fun. I had improved on Preacher, Song for my Father, Pen. Ave. Blues, and I had a written solo for In a Sentimental Mood. It was fun. Next time me and Joel split a solo, we are gonna trade 4s so that will be awesome. Oh and I talked to D about having like 3-4 ppl trading fours with each other on the same solo. He said it could work. and I said ok I already know 4 names, I said myself, Marty, Peter, and Anthony. It would be awesome. ok so tomorrow stay after cuz I don't have time to go home and get my uniform and come back so yeah. Tomorrow is Silver Bells. oh well, we;ll see how it goes.
