Talked to VJ tonight. She's such a good friend. After all these years, it doesn't matter where we leave off, we pick back up.
She's... no longer at rock bottom. But starting over with work and friends. And reminding herself that nothing is forever. Lynze will be 18 in just a couple more years, and her dad won't be able to hold her any longer. It's been a long road for them both, with many setbacks. But she's stronger for it... they both are.
Told her everything that's gone on since the last time we caught up. She always has whatever I need to hear. Maybe I'll be able to take her advice before long... just give it to God and let Him work. I say the words, but am trapped by something.
Shark week.
Hoping John follows through with my flight change. It's gonna suck trying to get from Vegas to Connecticut if he doesn't. Texted him tonight, but he's out partying as usual.
I already miss Dorian.
