Busy times
Yesterday: Take bunch-o-crap to Pennsic (bedding, chairs, carpet remnants, etc.), try to fix leaky tent with duct tape, drop off war conch shell at Kaminari, oh wait- before I go any further:
It took a bloody hour and forty minutes to get to Cooper's
Normally, it's only 45, but since traffic was *fucked* due to reducing I79 to one lane, it took forever. Feh. Anyway, I got there. Let's see, where was I, oh yeah- I dropped off the conch shell, came home, put high chair in truck, got my sorry ass into the shower, and picked up the rest of my family to head out to see friends for dinner. They have a 3 1/2 month old daughter who is just cute-cute-cute. And I haven't seen Lake next to such a young baby in a long time, which made me realize just how big she is. She's damn near not a baby anymore. I really hadn't noticed her most recent growth spurt, but I see it now. It was a great time. The food was great, Lake had a blast running around (they have a big back yard), and it was fun hanging out with our friends, which was loooong overdue. Lake was going strong two hours after her normal bedtime, and didn't pass out until we were over halfway home. It was a very good evening. :-)
Today I put Finn in doggy daycare, do some shopping, and get ready to head up to Pennsic tomorrow with Jenn and Lake. Hopefully the rain will subside, and all will be purty for the weekend.
