the "City of the Dead" in Cairo
i'm about to go to bed, but thought if i'm going to be leaving this warm and sunny place i should probably document it better!

lights for Ramadan
i climbed to the top of this minaret (sp?)
did i ever mention how terribly afraid of heights i am?
but i figured i may never have this opportunity again...
so i went for it.
my thighs were sore for days because of how tense i was!
the previous photo was taken from the top of this minaret.
the stained glass windows in these mosoleums were absolutely amazing. this photo doesn't even come close to doing them justice, but gives you an idea.
