Soooo.. i have been in Poland for almost 3 months and all I can say is ...

1. It's been 3 months...where has time gone?? It seemed just like yesterday I was boarding the plane in philly and saying goodbye to my parents.

2.Food...Looks like hell taste like heaven. It's basically a non-stop eating fest. Every hour someone is asking me to shove a plate of food down my throat. Insane!!

3.Language..Very very difficult to comprehend and pronounce but I am getting there. I am starting to translate sentances into my head. I can't talk in sentances, only just words and phrases.

4.People...Well I get stared at 24/7 and sometimes the dirty looks. It's amazing, but when people actually get to know me (and me to know them)they are sooo nice and so hospitable.

5.School..well basically I have 5 subjects and the only one's I understand are French and English (go figure) and the rest of the time, I just read. It's fantastic!

6.Host family...weird but the nicest people...my host mom barely speaks english so I am teaching her and she has improved so much. I have gained a lot of patients to teach her and to communicate, it is incrediable.

7.Poland...well either your rich or your poor.. no middle class. Mostly everyone is poor and it makes you think how good you have it in america. The goverment here is horrible and the currency here is horrible too. You feel so bad because everyone is so miserable. Also their is a lot of history here from WW2 and they are just starting to rebuild, it's mostly all land and country out here.
