Wedding Update :)
Got another call from Kat the other night. She asked me to be her Maid of Honour. XD I accepted. She couldn't decide between Anna and I and decided to leave it to fate. She put our names in a hat with some 'blanks' and drew my name first. I cracked up so hard on the phone as she explained that to me. But I think I'd be in the same boat. I wouldn't know how to chose between them if it was me getting married.
She's coming back up here in August and we'll be looking for dresses and stuffs. She said she wants green - not olive or vivid or even really emerald green - dresses. I don't know how we'll go about finding something like that. Might had to have them made.
She said she doesn't care about styles and lengths so much. She just wants all 3 dresses the same colour. But we'll see of that holds when it gets closer to the day. Anna, Sheng-yi and I; we are all very different heights and shapes and colours. I'm taller than Anna and Kat. Anna's about the same size as Kat and Sheng-yi is tiny. So I think it would be wise not trying to put us all in the same style dress.
Kat's also have Rob's niece as a flowergirl and she doesn't know about the dress for her yet.
She asked me if I'd do the make-up and although honoured that she would ask me I already know that the make-up has to be heavier than normal to show up nicely in photos and I have no experience with that. I would hate her pictures to be ruined cause we all look pasty or something. And I have no experience in doing a child's make-up. I'm firmly against putting make-up on children in the first place but I understand you have to put a little on to make sure it shows nicely in the pictures.
She doesn't know what she wants done with our hair. My hair is notoriously crap for styling. It's too heavy and doesn't hold style well. It falls so quickly.
They are getting married this November in our old highschool's chapel, which will be pretty. She is hiring a vintage care which will also be cool.
I don't think I'd want to try organise a wedding in 6 months.
Apart from that. I'm freezing!! and I'm still in the brace and on crutches. Physio made me tear up on Friday. Bending my knee is SOOOO painful.
